Yale Alumni Association Assembly 2018

November 8, 2018: Every autumn, the Yale Alumni Association holds an Assembly in New Haven to update alumni volunteers about news at Yale, to promote best practices in alumni organization, and to recognize excellence in volunteer efforts. This year, The Yale Alumni Association of Central Pennsylvania participated in two new programs which won Excellence Awards. Both programs originated in Central Pa. with the work of Ben Slotznick ’70, ’73 Dra.

Camp Yale Emeritus won an award for Outstanding Innovation. This program grew out of our own summer parties! We held two Camp Yale Emeritus events this year, in Harrisburg and Wrightsville.

The summer party in Harrisburg was also one of the series of ten @70 gatherings across the country for alums turning seventy. This also won an Excellence in Programming award.
